About Us
Locally owned.
Fully insured.
A cleaning company based in Gregory, Michigan, run by people who live here too. Together, we make a difference, one clean space at a time.
Meet the owner
Hi, I’m Johnathan La Graff, founder and owner of ScrubSquad.
Before I ever picked up a mop professionally, I spent my career as a software engineer. It was good work, but I wanted to build something that made a more direct difference in the place I call home. In 2023 I opened ScrubSquad with a few goals: create a stable income for my family, create well paying jobs for people in our community, and give our neighbors a cleaning service they can genuinely trust.
I’m continuously involved in the day-to-day operations. I clean alongside our team, I walk through homes and businesses to put together quotes, and I’m the person you’ll hear from if anything ever needs attention.
“We don’t cut corners, we clean them.”
Who we are
ScrubSquad is a locally owned residential and commercial cleaning company based in Gregory, Michigan. We serve homes and businesses throughout Livingston County, with regular clients in northern Washtenaw and western Oakland counties as well.
Our growth comes from the people on our team, and we take care of them in return. Every ScrubSquad cleaning technician is one of our employees, never a contractor. When the people cleaning your space are supported and respected, it shows in the work.
To deliver exceptional cleaning services with integrity, professionalism, and care. Together, we make a difference, one clean space at a time.
Our Core Values
We’re your neighbors. We hire locally, spend locally, and show up for the towns we serve.
We genuinely enjoy what we do, and we bring that energy to every home and business we walk into.
We do what we say we’ll do. If something isn’t right, we own it and make it right.
Who we stand with
ScrubSquad is proud to be a Premium Partner of Cleaning for a Reason, a nonprofit and ISSA charity that connects people undergoing cancer treatment with free, professional house cleaning. Treatment is exhausting, and a clean home is one less thing to worry about. Through this partnership, our team provides cleanings at no cost to recipients in our service area. It’s some of the most meaningful work we do.
We’re a member of the Greater Brighton Area Chamber of Commerce, which supports local businesses across Brighton and its Pinckney, Putnam, Hamburg, Hell, and Whitmore Lake divisions. Being part of the Chamber keeps us connected to the business owners, organizations, and families who make this area such a great place to live and work.
Out in the community
You’ll often find ScrubSquad at events around Livingston County and beyond. If you see our tent, come say hello.
- Sponsor of Pinckney Food Truck Fridays
- Sponsor of the Lyon Area Chamber Euchre Tournament
- A booth at community festivals and markets throughout the year
Off the clock
When I’m not cleaning or running the business, I’m usually learning a new language, camping, or playing video and card games. I’m also a husband and a proud dog dad to Percy and Arty, two very energetic herding dogs.
